Service Technician

Job Summary:
The Service Technician reports to the Service Manager/Supervisor and is to ensure that all parking equipment is maintained within contract guidelines.

Job Responsibilities / Duties:
Must have experience with electrical and electronic equipment
Must be able to work flexible hours e.g. weekly on-call
Maintain the stock level of supplies, e.g. ticket rolls and other consumables;
Ensure their vehicle is clean and stocked with parts for the next shift;
Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions;
Ensure accuracy is used when filling out SWO, e.g. correct part number is used;
Must have strong computer skills, able to learn new access control applications
Adhere to Uniform Policy;
Must be able to lift 50 lbs equipment;
Must be self-motivated, able to work independently as well as in team environment
Must be able to use power tools
Preparation of incident and accident reports, as required;
Valid drivers license (must be G class license) with a clean driving abstract
Provide feedback to the Manager/Supervisor on potential customer situations/problems found on site;
Provide maintenance on equipment to assure continuity of customer operations and high levels of customer satisfaction;
Resolve issues to the customer’s satisfaction and/or in compliance with the agreed upon Service Level agreements
Other duties as assigned

Flexible, patient, diplomatic, courteous, tactful and with high level of integrity;
Dependable, hardworking and willing and able to work after normal working hours;
Must be punctual and self disciplined; Must enjoy the outdoors in all seasons;
Drivers License (G class) is a requirement; training will be provided;
Credit and criminal clearance required.
