Terminal Programmer

As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Terminal Programmer to join our team and contribute to the development and support of our parking terminal products.
Job Summary:
The Service Technician reports to the Service Manager/Supervisor and is to ensure that all parking equipment is maintained within contract guidelines.

Job Responsibilities / Duties:
Monitor and resolve support tickets related to terminal issues and client requests.
Assist the service team with terminal troubleshooting and provide technical assistance.
Communicate with clients to gather requirements for terminal user experience and flows.
Analyze terminal logs to diagnose and address deficiencies.
Generate tariff scripts.
Perform quality assurance on preproduction environments, validating program functionality before deployment.
Create support tickets with R&D when problems are identified and manage the ticket process until resolution.
Collaborate with R&D to certify new hardware and terminal features.
Provide remote assistance or training to clients as needed.
Mandatory Qualifications:
Proficiency in XML and XAML.
Experience with image editing (e.g., simple cropping, coloring).
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Excellent problem-solving/debugging skills (especially in relation to terminal programming issues).
Ability to create flow diagrams (e.g., using Publisher, Visio, etc.).
Basic knowledge of computer hardware (some setup of terminals required; training provided).
Testing of your own work, as well as others’, based on predefined procedures (training provided).
Experience in flow diagramming using tools like Publisher or Visio.
Basic computer hardware knowledge for terminal setup (training provided). Preferred Skills:
Bilingual proficiency in French and English (written, spoken, comprehension) to support our customer base across Canada, especially in Quebec.
* Being able to communicate in English is requested since the job will require that the candidate communicate with English customers that are situated outside of Québec.
