The Town of Wasaga Beach Undergoes Parking Technology Upgrade in Time for Summer Season

The is a growing community of over 23,000 residents nestled along the shores of South Georgian Bay in Simcoe County. Home to the world's longest freshwater beach, the Town of Wasaga Beach has been hailed a popular destination for cottagers and vacation goers during the summer months, as well as an ideal community for people of all ages to live, relax and thrive. 

Since 2010, the Town has been a valued partner of Precise ͵ÅÄ͵¿ú, relying on our parking technology solutions to manage and control parking during their busy summer months. For over 12 years, the pay-and-display parking system has proven to be a success within the community. With the help of Precise ͵ÅÄ͵¿ú, the Town launched a fully upgraded system in May 2022, comprising Cale pay-and-display parking meters. The new parking meters provide ultimate reliability and flexibility and make parking easier for residents and visitors, with smart interface experiences, advanced hardware and software, and secure payment capabilities. The new technology enables the tourist hot spot to manage parking availability and capture incremental revenue.
